FCU International Business Team Wins Runner-Up and Four Individual Awards at 2026 Central Taiwan Management Case Competition

The Department of International Business at Feng Chia University achieved an impressive result in its first-ever participation in the 2026 Central Taiwan College Management Case Competition. Led by Assistant Professor Chieh-Sheng Lin, a team of students ranging from sophomores to seniors—Kai-Ting Lai, Tzu-Chen Lin, Wei-Chi Huang, Yu-Chen Lin, Chien-Ching Su, Ping-Feng Chou, and Ting-Wei Tsai—competed at Tunghai University on May 2 and earned second place in the team competition.

FCU’s Enterprise AI Academy Helps Taichung Manufacturers Bridge the AI Adoption Gap

In recent years, Taiwan’s traditional manufacturing industries have faced mounting challenges, including international tariff adjustments, exchange rate fluctuations, and labor shortages. To help local businesses enhance their competitiveness, the Taichung City Government Economic Development Bureau commissioned Feng Chia University to establish the Enterprise AI Academy from December 2025 to March 2026. Through training programs focused on lean management and AI applications, the initiative assisted businesses in upgrading operations ranging from inventory management and production automation to data-driven decision-making.

FCU Receives Ministry of Economic Affairs Funding for the Second Consecutive Year: National Convention and Exhibition Training Program Connects Students with the Taichung International Convention and Exhibition Center

As the Taichung International Convention and Exhibition Center (TICEC) continues to develop, demand for convention and exhibition (MICE) professionals in central Taiwan is growing rapidly. Responding to this national industry trend, the College of Business at Feng Chia University successfully secured funding from the International Trade Administration, Ministry of Economic Affairs, for the National Convention and Exhibition Talent Development Program in both 2024 and 2025. Through its University Convention and Exhibition Training Program, FCU is actively cultivating the next generation of Taiwan’s MICE professionals.

The Alumni Association of the Graduate Institute of Financial and Economic Law at Feng Chia University held its Second General Assembly of the Second Term on April 26 under the theme of “Legacy and the Common Good.” Witnessed by President Wei Wang and distinguished guests from academia, government, and industry, founding president Chun-Hao Liu officially passed leadership responsibilities to the newly elected president, Pi-Chen Lin, highlighting the strong tradition of mentorship and continuity among FCU legal professionals.

Feng Chia University Students Win First Prize for Best Paper at the 2026 International Conference on Big Data and ERP

An interdisciplinary research team from Feng Chia University, consisting of Fu-Guei Wang from the Bachelor's Program in Artificial Intelligence Technology and Applications and Yu-Chieh Chen from the Department of Business Administration, recently won First Prize for Best Paper at the 2026 International Conference on Big Data and ERP Academic and Practical Applications. Supervised by Professor Ju-Juan Wu of the Department of Business Administration, the team’s research on higher education transformation and the AI talent gap stood out among more than 200 submissions from across the Asia-Pacific region, showcasing the university’s strong research capabilities and successful interdisciplinary collaboration.

Feng Chia University College of Business Advances AI Project Management Education: All 25 Faculty Members Earn AIPA-A Certification

In response to the rapid advancement of generative AI and the growing trend of intelligent project management, the College of Business at Feng Chia University has actively promoted the integration of artificial intelligence and management expertise. With the support of Professor Dyi-Shyan Guo from the Department of Cooperative Economics and Social Entrepreneurship, the College organized the AI Project Management Seed Faculty Certification Training Program on March 20 and 27.

Inaugural U-Impact Freshman Anchor Course Competition Showcases Practical Innovation from 21 Interdisciplinary Teams

On March 27, Feng Chia University hosted its inaugural U-Impact Sustainability Action Challenge, the capstone competition of the freshman Anchor Course program, at Gongshan Hall. A total of 21 interdisciplinary freshman teams participated, each selected as the most promising representative from departmental project-based learning courses.

Feng Chia University Student Organizations Shine at National Evaluation, Earning Two Outstanding Awards and a Best Featured Activity Award

Student organizations at Feng Chia University have once again achieved outstanding results on the national stage. At the 2026 National College and University Student Club Evaluation and Observation Event, organized by Taiwan’s Ministry of Education, Feng Chia student organizations distinguished themselves among 225 clubs representing 116 universities nationwide. Their exceptional organizational management and program achievements earned them two Outstanding Awards, the highest honor in the competition, as well as a Best Featured Activity Award, demonstrating the university’s excellence in student leadership and diverse extracurricular development.
