FCU Martial Arts Clubs Shine at National University Games with One Gold, One Silver, and Two Bronze Medals

Representatives from Feng Chia University’s Karate Club, Taekwondo Club, and Jiao-Long Judo Club competed at the 2026 National Intercollegiate Athletic Games, demonstrating the results of their rigorous training against top student-athletes from universities across Taiwan. Collectively, FCU athletes earned one gold medal, one silver medal, two bronze medals, and several top-eight finishes.

FCU Team Wins 2026 Central Taiwan Cross-border E-commerce Competition

The 2026 Central Taiwan Cross-border E-commerce Competition, jointly organized by Feng Chia University’s Intelligent Cross-border E-commerce Innovation Research Center and the Importers and Exporters Association of Taipei (IEAT), held its final round at Feng Chia University on June 14. The event was inaugurated by Professor Chin-Yi Chen, Dean of Research and Development at Feng Chia University. The FCU team “International Sleepers” from the Department of International Business claimed the championship title.

FCU Colleges of Business and Finance Host 2026 Business Data Analytics and Decision-Making Competition

The 2026 Business Data Analytics and Decision-Making Competition – Business Transformation, Upgrade, and Expansion, jointly organized by the College of Business and the College of Finance at Feng Chia University, concluded successfully on June 12. A total of 33 teams comprising 136 students advanced to the final round. Participants selected real companies or brands as their subjects of analysis and developed strategic recommendations focused on brand transformation, operational upgrading, or market expansion, demonstrating their ability to address real-world business challenges through data analytics and business insights.

On May 12, the Department of Business Administration at Feng Chia University hosted an innovative SDGs Career Board Game Workshop, encouraging students to move beyond traditional career-planning approaches and explore the connections among personal strengths, industry needs, and future societal development through the lens of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Recognizing the different skills and mindsets required for each path, the Department of Accounting at Feng Chia University hosted a career-sharing event on May 5, inviting three distinguished alumni from various professional fields to share their career journeys and workplace experiences with current students.

FCU International Business Team Wins Runner-Up and Four Individual Awards at 2026 Central Taiwan Management Case Competition

The Department of International Business at Feng Chia University achieved an impressive result in its first-ever participation in the 2026 Central Taiwan College Management Case Competition. Led by Assistant Professor Chieh-Sheng Lin, a team of students ranging from sophomores to seniors—Kai-Ting Lai, Tzu-Chen Lin, Wei-Chi Huang, Yu-Chen Lin, Chien-Ching Su, Ping-Feng Chou, and Ting-Wei Tsai—competed at Tunghai University on May 2 and earned second place in the team competition.

FCU’s Enterprise AI Academy Helps Taichung Manufacturers Bridge the AI Adoption Gap

In recent years, Taiwan’s traditional manufacturing industries have faced mounting challenges, including international tariff adjustments, exchange rate fluctuations, and labor shortages. To help local businesses enhance their competitiveness, the Taichung City Government Economic Development Bureau commissioned Feng Chia University to establish the Enterprise AI Academy from December 2025 to March 2026. Through training programs focused on lean management and AI applications, the initiative assisted businesses in upgrading operations ranging from inventory management and production automation to data-driven decision-making.

FCU Receives Ministry of Economic Affairs Funding for the Second Consecutive Year: National Convention and Exhibition Training Program Connects Students with the Taichung International Convention and Exhibition Center

As the Taichung International Convention and Exhibition Center (TICEC) continues to develop, demand for convention and exhibition (MICE) professionals in central Taiwan is growing rapidly. Responding to this national industry trend, the College of Business at Feng Chia University successfully secured funding from the International Trade Administration, Ministry of Economic Affairs, for the National Convention and Exhibition Talent Development Program in both 2024 and 2025. Through its University Convention and Exhibition Training Program, FCU is actively cultivating the next generation of Taiwan’s MICE professionals.
